Wassalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh! Welcome to Beautiful Muslimah project, I’m Kathryn Jones and I’m so excited that you’re here. Today we’re talking about juggling all balls we have in the air and dropping the ball. All balls, whatever is going on, and how does it make us feel.
So these days as moms, as daughters, as sisters, just as women in general. We have a lot on our plate, we’re we usually juggling lots of different balls in the air and we’re often dropping them and then we don’t think we’re good enough. We feel that the world is judging us; we are judging ourselves, and we really just feel that we’re not good enough because we can’t keep all the balls in the air. I want to take this from a different perspective, okay?
The reality is, no one can keep all the balls in the air, look at the juggler when they do the juggling routine, do they always have all the ball in the air? No they don’t, sometimes they do the routine where they coding their balls in the air. When their putting one balls down, then they’ll pick it up then they have all the balls in the air. They mixed it up, they measure around.
There’s a difference between dropping the ball and actually putting the ball down. It’s a psychological difference and also a practical difference. The psychological difference is putting the ball down and we are being mindful, conscious and aware that at this moment we can keep all the balls in the air so we gonna put this ball down. We gonna pick it up again, gonna throw back up in the air juggling with all the others but for the moment it’s going down. We’re holding it in our hand or we putting it down. That’s different from dropping the ball, because dropping the ball its unintentional, it’s accidental which we hadn’t been able to keep it going and we kept trying to do that despite the warning sign that we really can’t keep it up.
So today’s challenge and what I want you to do today is to think about the balls that you’ve been dropping, all the balls that you consistently dropping and think about how you can put it down, how can you do this mindfully. And I would love you to share on the latest video, what ball that is that you’re gonna stop dropping and you’re gonna stop putting it down and picking it up mindfully. Tell me what that is, tell me if it’s small super balls, what’s the ball you keep dropping and how are you going to now put it down, instead of drop it, how are gonna pick it up. It’s a quite a subtle ship but it is amazing difference it’s make. I look here forward to hear what you share.
